Huw Morgan studied music at the University of Oxford and conducting at the Royal Academy of Music. He held various posts in London, including director of music of the Merbecke Choir at Southwark Cathedral; after a spell abroad, he now lives in Bristol where he conducts the Redland Green Choir, the Clifton Singers, Weston Choral Society and Nova Early Music, as well as being associate director of music of All Saints Church in Clifton. He is education editor of Organists' Review; a trustee of the Bristol Early Music Festival; and performer of experimental "mainly slow organ music" concerts in Bristol and beyond.
