What is Office Choir of the Year?

Office Choir of the Year is the flagship competition run by Music in Offices. It brings together workplace choirs from across the UK for a supportive, high quality live performance event.

Whether your choir is well established or newly formed, Office Choir of the Year is your chance to:

  • Perform in a professional concert setting

  • Connect with other workplace choirs

  • Celebrate what your organisation has built through singing

  • Challenge yourselves musically in a friendly and inclusive environment

All choirs are supported and celebrated. Office Choir of the Year is as much about connection and shared experience as it is about competition.

Competition information

When: 7pm, Thursday 18 June 2026

Where: St Botolph without Bishopsgate, EC2M

Set length: 10-12 minutes total performance time per choir

Entry deadline: 6pm, Friday 1 May 2026

Entry fee: £350 for MIO choirs / £500 for non-MIO choirs + VAT

Places are limited and allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.

All choirs will be supported and celebrated: this event is as much about connection as competition
