Saul Rothwell is an enthusiastic Bass-Baritone originally from West Yorkshire, now living in East London. He is in his final year of study at Guildhall School of Music and Drama with Sarah Pring and Caroline Jaya-Ratnman and previously studied for two years at Chetham's School of Music in Manchester under Helen Francis. He has performed many solo, operatic and choral works such as a Haydn's Mass no.11 in C minor with BBC Philiamonic Orchestra, bringing the role of Commendatore to life in Mozart's Don Giovanni and many solo recitals from a range of composers and styles. He is currently a member of the London Philharmonia Chorus, who often work alongside The London Symphony Orchestra. He has also been selected to have masterclasses from Roderick Williams, Alessandro Fischer and Quientin Hayes. Saul also enjoys singing in other styles such as jazz and musical theatre, where he has done many jazz covers with bands. Outside of singing, Saul is passionate about literature, sports and religion.
