Mo Cook is a Hackney based bass player who’s studying jazz at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama. He specialises in the electric bass, and also plays upright bass and guitar. Even though Mo is studying jazz, he plays most genres, specialising in funk, nu jazz and gospel. Other than these, Mo plays a lot of soul, hip hop, afrobeat and trad jazz; coming from a rock and pop background. Mo plays in a range of different projects, playing anywhere from the GSMD jazz orchestra to live trap music.
